This role will take care of hosting and VIP Food and Beverage service for distinguished VIP guests including Royalty, Government officials and celebrity guests.

Job Summary:

• Meet and escort guests to their reserves dining and meeting spaces after arriving from their airport/hotels.

• Adhere to strict staff grooming and hygiene standards.

• Should be able to handle all VIP guests without bias or prejudice.

• Must possess strong organization time management skills, attention to detail.

• Must be guest service focused and a team player.

• Positive attitude and outgoing personality are essential.

• Must be able to work shifts - days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

• Professional in demeanor and presentation.

• Personable, enthusiastic, self-motivated and able to work independently.

• Check arrival list for the following day, allocate meeting rooms for VIP guests and guests with special requests.

• Inspect the areas of all VIP guests prior to their arrival at the pavilion.

• Escort arriving VIP guests to their meeting or dining rooms.

• Attend to special requests made by VIP guests during their visit to the pavilion.

• Prepare the daily VIP guest list and distribute it to the respective departments.

• Provide tours of the pavilion and its facilities as requested.

• Perform all necessary tasks to service food and beverage according to the standards.

• Greet and seat customers and serve them in a professional, discreet, and personalized way

• Acquire in depth knowledge of the food and beverage menu of the assigned outlet/restaurant in order to assist and provide advice to guests.

• Consistently monitor quality of food & beverage being served.

• Practice good customer relations and attend to customer complaints / queries satisfactorily.

• Responsible for maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards in the outlet and upkeep of all service equipment

• Responsible for all service preparations before, during and after the service (mise-en-place and mise-en-scene)

• Ensure minimum wastage, breakage, and spoilage

• Actively use up selling techniques to exceed guest expectations and increase revenue

• Coordinating and multi-tasking job duties in a busy environment. 

 

Conditions Of Work: 

• Must be available for work from October 2021, to March 31, 2022.

• Must adhere to a shift schedule.

• Must be a Moroccan citizen.

• Must wear a pressed and clean uniform (provided) when on duty.

• There will be no vacation leave granted during this period. 

 

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge:

• High School Degree

• Previous experience in a similar field is a major plus

• Proficiency in MS Office

• Fluency in English, Arabic and French mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years VIP guest service experience in a 5 star hotel/Sales or hosting/service role for VIPS.

• Outgoing personality with ability to communicate with guests and colleagues
